Brinthavanam Days Inn - Jaffna

Loved the thrill of searching for parking in the midst of the garden. The shared lounge was so intimate, it felt like everyone was invading my personal space. Breakfast was a real adventure, wondering what vegetarian surprise awaited me each day.

I absolutely adored the authentic experience of dodging mosquitoes in my room and being serenaded by the delightful aroma of sewage in the bathroom.

The location was peaceful, located just off the Bus Stop in a quiet residential area. the room was impressive and well-maintained, and I slept very well.

The hotel was big, and the meals were good, I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet location short walk to the big Nallur temple as well as a residential area in walking distance to the main temple. The breakfast was local and delicious with affable personnel. The room with shared bathroom.

stayed in jaffna before, but Brinthavanam Days Inn was a pleasant surprise! Lovely terrace next to the room, clean bathroom, and a delicious local breakfast. The owners were accommodating and even helped us rent scooters to explore the area. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful stay away from the city.

Noisy Hindu temple nearby.

The parking was so spacious, I felt like I was in a luxury car showroom. The garden was so stunning, it made me consider becoming a botanist. The terrace was like my own personal VIP lounge, perfect for sipping martinis and people-watching.

The shared lounge was like a zoo, with all the noisy guests acting like wild animals.

I had a wonderful stay at Brinthavanam Days Inn. The room and bathroom were clean and well arranged, and the location was convenient for exploring the market area, fort, temple, and other attractions. The managers were incredibly friendly and helpful, even sending us photos and information about the local area. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day, and the extra touches like fresh coconut and tea/coffee upon arrival were much appreciated. Parking our tuk-tuk inside the hotel was also convenient, and the small terrace and hammock in the garden were perfect for relaxing.

Located near a popular restaurant, away from the busy city center, and in a residential area close to the main temple. The room was clean, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. The breakfast served was delicious and varied each day. The hotel also offers facilities like AC and WiFi, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The room was spacious and clean, with a nice size and comfortable bed. We also enjoyed the Sri Lankan breakfast, which was tasty and authentic. the Wi-Fi was reliable and the staff provided excellent hospitality, going above and beyond to assist us with any questions we had about the city and Sri Lanka in general.

The shared bathroom could be a bit inconvenient, especially if you prefer to sleep in and have to wait for others to finish using it. the hotel's location was a bit far from the city center, but we discovered that there was a nearby bus stop where we could easily catch a local bus into town.

The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and we were thrilled to have such a variety of local dishes to try each morning. We also appreciated the owner's attentiveness and thoughtfulness, especially when I was feeling unwell. The shared bathroom option turned out to be even better than the private bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. our stay at this hidden gem was absolutely mind-blowing and definitely one of the best experiences of our Sri Lankan journey. The rooms at Brinthavanam Days Inn in Jaffna were cozy and comfortable, with bed linen and towels provided. I felt at home as soon as I entered the room, making my stay truly enjoyable.

Personally, I found the lack of a mini-fridge in the room a bit inconvenient. However, I understand that others may not mind this and still find their stay enjoyable.

I always stay at a hotel where staff gave me plug adaptors for my phone charger. It has Wi-Fi, free parking, laundry, TV room, VIP check-in, 24-hour security. It suits me perfectly. Coming back this weekend.
